Learning About Your ProcedureThe ClearChoice team of dental professionals will educate you and your family about your specific procedure and answer any questions or concerns you may have. The Dental Implant Procedure The dental professionals at ClearChoice use Nobel Biocare Immediate Function™ procedures to shorten treatment periods and provide consistent, quality results, often without bone grafting.
- Treatment Planning – Once your treatment starts, the Prosthodontist at ClearChoice will perform a detailed initial workup, including impressions, 3D CAT Scan imaging, and dental photography, to allow the team at ClearChoice to prepare everything necessary for your Implant placement and the restoration of your teeth. If you are currently wearing dentures, a try-in visit may be scheduled to allow you to preview your new replacement teeth.
- Placing the Implants – On the day of surgery, the Oral Surgeon will remove the necessary teeth and immediately place the Dental Implants. For qualified candidates, the surgeon will then prepare the Implants for immediate restoration of the teeth. (In some cases, however, the Implants may require healing time before the teeth are placed.)
- Attaching the Posts (Abutments) – Special posts are attached to the Implants to support either a single tooth restoration, or an Implant-supported bridge. Following the placement of the abutments, the Prosthodontist will then take final impressions to allow the lab to finish preparations on the replacement teeth.
- Placing the New Implant-Supported Teeth – Once the on-site lab completes the new teeth, they are carefully placed by the Prosthodontist to restore a beautiful smile. The All-in-One treatment facility at ClearChoice, in most cases, allows the implants and new teeth to be placed all in one day.
- The Completed Implant Treatment – Your final new teeth appear and perform like natural teeth and can last a lifetime.
